About

Dr. Ariel Hudson, DVM, CVMMMP

Background

Dr. Ariel Hudson is from Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended Northern Kentucky University for her Bachelors of Science in Biology, and graduated in 2016. During her time at NKU, she played NCAA Division I soccer for the Norse. Dr. Hudson went onto vet school in Tennessee, graduating from Lincoln Memorial University-College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021, and received multiple awards for clinical excellence.

After graduating, Dr. Hudson returned to Cincinnati and went into general practice where she developed a passion for holistic modalities, wellness, senior/palliative care, and dentistry. Dr. Hudson returned to Tennessee in 2024 where she went into practice at an Urgent Care hospital in Chattanooga, and solidified her skills in advanced diagnostics, soft-tissue surgery, and urgent-care triage.

While in school, Dr. Hudson developed a passion for holistic medicine after experiencing how impactful these treatments can be due to the health concerns of one of her own dogs….

Since graduating, Dr. Hudson has completed training in integrative modalities including: Veterinary Medical Manipulation (very similar to chiropractic), and Acupuncture from Chi University in Reddick, Florida.

Dr. Hudson knew she wanted to start her own practice since before she got into veterinary school, and is now bringing her vision to life. Tired of not being able to spend as much time with each patient as she’d like, she decided to start her own house call practice in 2025. Now she can give each of her patients the personalized and compassionate care they deserve, in the low stress environment of their own home! She loves working as a team with owners to ensure that their pets are receiving the best care possible. She also has a soft spot for improving the quality of life of senior pets.

In her downtime, Dr. Hudson enjoys spending time with her husband, Steven and all their furry family members (four dogs and three cats). She also enjoys mountain biking, white water kayaking, hiking, and gardening!

What makes us Different?

Our Approach

At Riverbend Integrative Animal Care our mission is to provide exceptional personalized veterinary care to your pets. We create an individualized treatment plan tailored to each pet based on their lifestyle, medical conditions, and health goals using integrative medicine. This is the blending of Western (conventional) medicine and holistic approaches.

Holistic medicine is focused on treating the ‘whole’ patient, not just the disease or problem that patient is dealing with. Our goal is to help your pet maintain health, manage chronic conditions, and improve your pet’s quality of life. We want to see your pet thrive!
